The Don Bosco Youth Centre —Audio Visual Hall is in the process of being constructed under the direction of Br. Tanaka Yukihiro sdb. It was blessed on 24th May, 2000 at a simple and homely celebration. The Centre is located at the Salesian Residential at West Kola Ridge. The Centre will offer school students, college and working youngsters, teachers and others the possibility of retreats, recollections, value based programmes, media education, education to love programmes, etc.
	The Jesus Trip-a Spiritual programme for youth, being held at the Holy Cross Campus, Honiara. It had as its theme: From Slavery to Freedom, Darkness to Light and Death to Life. About 130 youngsters attended this one-day programme and were delighted to share their spiritual experiences with others.
