ole.gif Incense, with its sweet-smelling perfume & high-ascending smoke, is typical of the good Christian's prayer, which, enkindled in the heart by the fire of God's love & exhaling the odour of Christ, rises up a pleasing offering in His sight (from the Catholic Encyclopedia).

Only non-choking, non-allergenic incense is used at St. Mary Magdalene. Still, some may find it disagreeable.

Incense is not used at the 6:30 p.m. Mass on Saturdays or the 7:30 a.m. Mass on Sundays.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation(Confession) is celebrated

at St. Mary Magdalene:

      Every Saturday 3:15 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

You may also call the office (943-2133, ext. 6200) to make an appointment with one of our priests.

“You shall not covet” is perhaps a difficult commandment to keep in our consumer-oriented society. But as Christian stewards, we know that we are the recipients & caretakers of God’s many gifts. May this understanding that all is gift help us be less resentful of the gifts of others.
