Enrollment

 

Hi!

 

First, thank you for your interest in St. Adalbert Catholic School.  We are a nurturing Christian environment with a strong academic program in reading, writing, and mathematics.  Our students also receive physical education, Spanish, music, computer and library science.  If you are looking for a school where your child can grow intellectually and spiritually, Saint Adalbert School is an excellent choice.

 

We are having open enrollment now.  Your child must be tested prior to being accepted.

 

If you are interested in having your child tested, please bring the following:  The entrance exam is not a pass or fail test.  It gives us a good idea of where your child should be with their academics.

Voucher and Tuition Information

 

We accept both the Cleveland school voucher and the Ohio Ed Choice voucher.  The Cleveland Scholarship and Tutoring Program provides scholarships for students who live within the Cleveland Metropolitan School District.  This scholarship will pay either 75% or 90% of the tuition.  However, if you live in the East Cleveland, Euclid or Warrensville school area then the Ohio Ed Choice (state) voucher will pay 100% of your tuition.  The school office can provide you with applications for either voucher program.  Unfortunately, currently there is no financial assistance with tuition for the Pre-K class, but we are in the process of obtaining the necessary information to start this program and we will inform you when it is almost ready so you can be the first ones to apply. 

 

Voucher applications are available now.  All applications are being entered in the school office.  You must provide your child’s birth certificate and proof of residency.  Income verification will be done by the State.  They are able to view our computer information and will send you a letter requesting that information.  Should you require an application, please call the school office at (216) 881-6250.  If you have a renewal letter, change of address or anything that will affect your current voucher status, please provide the school with that information.

 

Transportation

 

Transportation is provided to those students who receive the Cleveland voucher.  The Cleveland Metropolitan School District, Transportation Department will contact you, the parent/guardian first and then St. Adalbert with bus information.  If you live beyond a certain mileage point and your child is in one of the upper grades, then they will provide RTA bus tickets free of charge.  The Euclid area as of last year did set up a transportation program, but as yet we have never had the need to use it.  If you transport your child and live beyond a certain mileage point, you will be reimbursed for mileage.  The cost is minimal, but the funds are available to you.

Iowa Testing begins March 2nd and ends March 6th

 

Malley’s Candy Fundraiser end Friday, March 13th

Candy will be delivered March 24th

 

 

Spring Break

 

School will be out Good Friday, April 10th

School will resume on Monday, April 20th
