Bishop Richard Lennon in a letter to our parish announced that St. Adalbert Catholic School will remain open for next year and will become a diocesan school at the closing of the parish.  This is wonderful news for our parents, teachers, staff, and children.  The change from parish administration to diocesan administration brings some new criteria and some adjustments but with your support, prayer, and input we can be successful.

Words from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. inspire us.  “As you press on for justice, be sure to move with dignity and discipline, using only the weapon of love.  Let no man pull you so low as to hate him.  Always avoid violence.  If you succumb to the temptation of using violence in your struggle, unborn generations will be the recipients of a long and desolate right of bitterness, and your chief legacy to the future will be an endless reign of meaningless chaos.”   Sermon, 1956

Neighboring Church Visits continue:  On Feb. 28 parishioners are encouraged to visit Our Lady of Peace Church at 3396 East 55 St. for the 10:00am Mass.
