The Student Council of St. Anselm School

PURPOSE:

To promote good citizenship,

To encourage a high level of scholarship

To arouse school spirit

To demonstrate the application of democracy

To advance the welfare of the school and members in every possible manner according to the teachings of Jesus.

BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS:

The board of commissioners is elected by the students in grades three to seven to serve as their representatives.

Only students in grades five, six and seven are eligible to run for office on the Board of Commissioner

ACTIVITIES:

Catholic Schools Week, Spelling Bee, Can Drive, Dances, Soup Kitchen, May Crowning, Pep rallies, Spirit rallies, Food and clothing collections, School Newspaper, Spirit Week, Fundraisers, Safety Patrol, Recycling, Ecological programs, Shut-in letters, Religious activities, Trophy case, Sports announcements, School publicity, Conduct elections.
