The S.P.A.R.K.S program was established in the summer of 1996. It was launched by a small group of parents and teachers so that our MESSAGE rings loudly and clearly.

MISSION STATEMENT:

S.P.A.R.K.S. is a spiritual initiative established at St. Anselm that seeks to encourage, nurture, and strengthen the characteristics essential to committed Catholic students.

This mission will be accomplished by students responding to opportunities provided in their daily lives to grow in their friendship with Jesus Christ and exhibit Christ-like qualities in all they think, say and do.

ACTIVITIES:

S.P.A.R.K.S. Calendar: Daily practices for kids and parents

S.P.A.R.K.S. Newsletter: News events and parenting tips

S.P.A.R.K.S. Spotlight: Each quarter students whose behavior is constant and consistent with the S.P.A.R.K.S. virtues are nominated by teachers for the "Spotlight"

They are recognized by the student body in a presentation ceremony. Their pictures are on display in the school so that all may see their "Shining Light!".
