We have
reached the final week of the 2010-2011 school year. It has been a
pleasure working with each and every fifth grader. Watching them grow
in mind, body, and spirit is such a privilege! Thank you for your help
and support in helping each student to become the best that they can be.
TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, and FRIDAY are dress down days.
THURSDAY is awards day; students are to dress in SCHOOL UNIFORM. If
your child is in the TALENT SHOW that day, they may bring a change of
clothes for the afternoon asssembly.
TUESDAY is the last day for the hot lunch program.
Students need to pack a lunch, including a drink (no bottled or
carbonated beverages), on WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY. FRIDAY is Picnic on
the Green, and lunch will be provided for all attending.
Enjoy the summer break. Please encourage reading; it
is the basis for success in school. I am looking forward to seeing you
all next year.

The annual SMM-SJM Poetry
