Grade
3
Mrs. Carole Zapol
This school year is going by quickly! Our class is a busy
and exciting learning center. The children are all doing well
with their reading skills and they are all enjoying a wide variety of
books. Math facts are being memorized through games
and worksheets. New technology skills are being taught in
computer class and we utilize our Active Board every day.
The third graders have the important job of collecting the school's
Mission money, and they take the responsibility very seriously.
This class is very dedicated to their education, while knowing how to
have fun at the same time!
Note to Parents:
Parents often ask what they can do to help their child do well
in school. Some things to consider are:
Have your child get a good night's sleep, and have them eat a
healthy breakfast each morning.
Designate an area for homework and have supplies such as
flashcards, crayons and rulers on hand. Kindly help them correct
any errors when you see them. Be firm that homework should be
done neatly.
Have your child read aloud
daily. Ask questions about the passages they have read. Can
they name the main characters? Identify the setting?
Understand the motivation of the characters? State the plot?
Please help them study math facts. They should know their
addition, subtraction and multiplication facts quickly.
