Yard Charge is a chance for the Troop
to rake leaves for the elderly people of Broadview
Heights. Troop 810, Pack 810, and The Knights of Columbus
worked together to rake the homes of about 13 residents.
For Pack 810, the helpers were Webelos, Wolves, and
Tigers (grades K, 1, and 2). It felt good to do this
project with our families. We like to make a difference
for others.
This weekend will feature
two events. The YardCharge Community Good Turn and an
overnight campout at the Hemlock Creek campsite in
Bedford Reservation. Here are the details...

Purpose: To perform
service hours to the community and get advancement
requirements completed. Rake yards for the elderly
members of our community.
Location: Broadview
Heights
Yard Charge Day Only
Cost: Bring lunch money or brown bag lunch for
Saturday, we will probably stop at one of the fast food
restaurants for lunch
Yard Charge Campout Cost:
$10 for any Scout/Webelo who does not rake in the
morning-$0 for any Scout/Webelo who does rake in the
morning

- Take Pleasant Valley Road east, it will turn into
Alexander Road, pass Canal and turn left on
Dunham Road
- Turn right on Button Road, this is past Egbert
and Gorge Parkway
- Campground is on the left side
